The Prairie Inn Harriers Running Club, organised, for the first time, this magnificent event which was held on Ring Road at the University of Victoria.
There were four race distances to choose from, the 50 Mile, 50K, 5 Mile and the 50 minute challenge. A total of 12 runners participated in the four challenges.
Catrin Jones was looking to break the Canadian record in the 50 Mile Ultra and she smashed it in a time of 6:09:11 in the F40 Masters Canadian Division. The previous Record of 6:14:45 was held by Beverley Anderson set in 2014 in Sacramento, California.
